BOSS IT Colour Restoring Powder for Black Laundry, 350g

Comprehensive formula that enhances and restores fabric colour during washing, ensuring long-lasting results.

Directions for Use:

  1. Wearing protective gloves, cut open the top of the package and place it upright inside the washing machine drum along with the garments.

  2. Run a cotton wash cycle at 40°C without a pre-wash.

  3. To remove excess dye and clean the washing machine, leave the garments inside the drum and wash again at 40°C using your regular detergent.

  4. Dry the fabric away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Effectiveness May Depend on Three Factors:

1. CURRENT FABRIC COLOUR

  • Standard colour-mixing principles apply – for example, black over yellow may result in dark green.

  • Patterns and designs on fabric may still be visible after colour restoration.

2. FABRIC WEIGHT

  • Up to 600g (e.g., 2 cotton T-shirts or a pair of jeans): full colour restoration.

  • Maximum fabric weight per one full pack is 1.2kg – however, results will be less intense, and colours will appear lighter or duller.

3. FABRIC TYPE

  • Full colour restoration: cotton, linen, viscose.

  • Partial/lighter restoration: polyester/cotton and polyester/viscose blends.

  • No colour restoration: wool, silk, polyester, acrylic, nylon, or fabrics with special finishes (e.g., “Dry clean only”).

Tips:

  • Restore colour to fabrics weighing up to 1.2kg and always use the entire contents of the package – neither more nor less.

  • Colour may not restore in areas with stains, faded patches, or bleach spots.

  • After dyeing, wash the garment separately a few times to remove any excess dye.

  • If dye remains in the washing machine, run a 40°C cycle with bleach and regular detergent in an empty drum.

  • Dye cannot be restored on polyester stitching – those areas will retain their original colour.

Among other components, contains <5% anionic surfactants.

  • May cause allergic skin reactions.

  • Contains CL Reactive Black 5, sodium metasilicate.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Wash affected skin thoroughly after use.

  • Wear protective gloves/eye protection.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Seek immediate medical advice/attention and show the product packaging.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
